PlacementDock pricing guide
Guest post pricing varies by publisher, niche, editorial requirements and placement terms. PlacementDock shows one current client rate for each active route so buyers can compare real opportunities without guessing at hidden reseller markups.
How much do guest posts cost on PlacementDock?
As of September 30, 2026, the live PlacementDock catalogue contains 32 active USD guest post routes. Current client rates range from $25 to $149. Six are priced at $50 or less, 14 sit between $51 and $100, and 12 are above $100. Separate EUR-denominated routes also exist and remain displayed in their listed currency rather than being converted into USD.
These figures describe the current PlacementDock catalogue, not the wider guest post market. For the variables behind those rates, see what affects guest post pricing. Publisher rates can change, new sites can be added and availability is confirmed before fulfilment. For live options, browse the guest post marketplace. What affects guest post pricing?
A guest post rate is not just a price for a backlink. It reflects the publisher route and the conditions attached to it. In PlacementDock, the main things to compare are the publisher niche, GEO, available SEO metrics, content requirements, turnaround, link limits and editorial restrictions.
- Publisher and niche. Specialist publications can price differently from general or mixed-topic sites.
- Editorial requirements. Minimum word counts, human-written content requirements, images and formatting rules can affect the work needed for a placement.
- Link rules. The number of links, anchor restrictions, allowed destination pages and link attributes can vary by publisher.
- Turnaround. Fast publication does not always cost more, but turnaround is still part of the route you are comparing.
- Topic restrictions. Some publishers reject entire verticals or apply different terms to restricted subjects.
- Currency. PlacementDock keeps each route in its listed currency instead of presenting unlike currencies as if they were directly comparable.
Does a higher price mean a better backlink?
No. A higher client rate does not guarantee stronger rankings, faster indexing, more referral traffic or better conversions. Domain Rating and estimated organic traffic can help with comparison, but they are third-party metrics and should not replace topical relevance and editorial fit.
PlacementDock leaves DR or traffic blank when a reliable value is not recorded instead of substituting a different metric. A cheaper route on a genuinely relevant site can be a better campaign fit than a more expensive placement chosen only for an authority score.
What is included in the displayed price?
The price shown in PlacementDock is the current client rate for that guest post route. It does not create a blanket promise that every topic, target URL or anchor will be accepted. Publisher approval and availability still apply, and the individual publisher page shows the known requirements for the route.
Where content handling, link limits, permanence or other terms have been confirmed, PlacementDock records them with the publisher. If a term is unknown, we do not turn it into a guarantee.
